Type a book into the Library once and the rest of the workbook follows: the Dashboard, Cover Gallery, Bookshelf, Calendar, Series Tracker, Reading Challenge, Monthly Stats and Favorites are all formula driven.

Covers from the ISBN: type an ISBN (or paste a cover link) and the Cover Gallery builds the cover image link for you from a free public cover service. Books without a cover get a colored title tile.

Bookshelf: book cards you can filter by status, genre, rating, year, shelf and spice. It grows with your Library.

Reading Log, streaks and calendar: log the date, book and pages or minutes. Current streak, longest streak, days read, goal days and a month heatmap count themselves. Release dates show on the calendar.

Series Tracker that counts itself: type the series name and how many books it has once. In Library, owned, read, reading, to be read, missing, next up and covers fill in.

Dashboard filters: pick a year, month and status. Books read, pages, average rating, average spice, did not finish, hours listened, top author and top genre (ties are named), 6 charts, plus Top Rated, Favorites and Next to Read cover strips and upcoming releases.

Setup tab: edit your goals and every dropdown list (genres, formats, sources, shelves, statuses, priority) in one place.

Spice rating: a separate 0 to 5 spice level next to the star rating.

Sort and filter the Library with the header arrows. Formula cells are protected without a password; your input columns stay unlocked.

Open a blank file or make your Google Sheets copy, check the Setup tab, then add books to the Library and a line to the Reading Log when you read. Open a sample file first if you want to see every tab filled in.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦

Developed for Google Sheets. An Excel file is included for the latest Microsoft 365 (Office 365 Desktop App). Older Excel versions may not support all features. Book covers use the IMAGE function, so they show in Google Sheets and in Excel 365. For the full cover gallery, use the Google Sheets link in the Start Here PDF. Where IMAGE is not available, each cover shows the book title on a colored tile and an Open cover link.

Not every book has a cover in the public cover service; you can always paste your own cover link.

Sample books are real, well-known titles with their real covers loaded from the ISBN; reviews, notes and people in the sample are made up.

A desktop or laptop screen is easiest to use.
