Keep your holiday addresses, card progress and sent and received history in one Christmas card list spreadsheet. Plan for up to 300 households, track four stages and keep 10 years of history beside each address.

Start with Setup, then add one household per row on Card List. Choose Yes, Maybe or No, mark Written, Addressed and Stamped, and record Sent in the current season history column. The Dashboard calculates cards to send, sent, left, received, cards to send back, progress by group and an estimated card and postage cost.

Your five tabs:

Start Here: setup steps, color key and sorting instructions.

Dashboard: progress ring, four stage bars, sent versus received chart, group table, mailing deadlines, high priorities and cards to send back.

Card List: names, addresses, text ZIP and postal code fields, contact details, priority, delivery, notes and 10 years of sent and received ticks.

Print List: an alphabetical plain-paper address list with three blocks across, for households marked Yes.

Setup: your year, groups, card types, mailing dates, currency and costs.

Example dates and costs. Check your postal service for this year's deadlines and prices. The sample files contain fictional households and editable example values. Dates and countdowns use Today, with an optional Pretend today setting for previews.

Developed for Google Sheets. An Excel file is included for the latest Microsoft 365 (Office 365 Desktop App). Older Excel versions may not support all features. No macros. Excel uses TRUE/FALSE dropdown ticks; Google Sheets copies use TRUE/FALSE tick values. Formula cells are protected without a password. To sort, use Review > Unprotect Sheet (no password), sort the whole table, then protect it again. Filtering works while protected. Long entries wrap; use AutoFit Row Height after pasting when needed. Keep the history start year fixed after adding ticks, and save an archive before beginning a new 10-year file.

Print List is not tied to a label brand. Print on plain paper or test one sheet before printing labels.
