About this download

Plan gifts for every occasion with a gift tracker spreadsheet, birthday calendar, budget overview and thank-you log in one place. Light and Dark themes are included.

Use one People list for birthdays, anniversaries, preferences and per-person totals. Add a row for each gift, choose its year and occasion, then update its budget, actual cost and status as you go. Formula-driven dates, countdowns and alerts help you review upcoming gifts. A Given before warning checks matching person and gift wording in earlier years.

The Dashboard includes three automatic progress rings for bought or later, wrapped or later and given, plus occasion budget comparisons, monthly spending, the next ten open gifts and birthdays in the next 60 days. The Calendar fills birthdays and anniversaries from People. Received tracks gifts you got and marks unthanked entries overdue after 14 days.

Capacity in each workbook: 100 people, 400 gifts and 200 received gifts.

Setup includes a year selector, currency symbol, optional annual budget and reminder window. Occasion, group, delivery and thank-you lists are editable. Birthday and anniversary dates come from People; Christmas, Valentine’s Day and US Mother’s Day and Father’s Day calculate for each gift year. Enter dates for other occasions. When renaming an occasion, update existing gift rows to match the new wording.

No macros are required. Excel thank-you tick cells use TRUE/FALSE dropdowns. Formula cells are protected without a password and input cells are unlocked. To sort, unprotect the sheet, sort the whole table, then protect it again. Increase row height or use AutoFit for long entries. February 29 birthdays show on March 1 in non-leap years. Names should be unique.
