Plan your whole move in one spreadsheet. This Moving Planner for Google Sheets keeps your countdown timeline, quotes, boxes, moving budget, address changes, utilities and first night box together, and it does the math for you. An Excel file is included for the latest Microsoft 365 (Office 365 Desktop App).

Add your move date and the Timeline counts back from it, from eight weeks before to a month after. Number your boxes room by room and copy the label text onto each box. Log every cost and watch each budget category show On track, Nearly used or Over plan.

• Timeline: 33 starter tasks counted back from your move date. Change the days before, add your own tasks and set the status as you go
• Quotes: every mover, truck, container, labor, storage or cleaning quote. It marks the lowest open quote for each service, warns if the same service is booked twice and shows the balance due after the deposit
• Boxes: your room by room packing list, one row per box with number, room, contents, priority, fragile and status from Not packed to Unpacked, plus a label column with the text to write on the box
• Expenses: every moving cost by category (type a refund as a negative amount)
• Address Changes: a starter list of 22 places to give your new address, each due a set number of days before or after the move
• Utilities: stop date at the old home and start date at the new one for each service, with Book now in the last three weeks for anything not yet scheduled
• First Night: a checklist of what you need on night one, so it travels with you rather than on the truck
