One spreadsheet for the punch list and the closeout. Type an item once on the Punch Log and the rest follows: the By Trade view lists one responsible party's open items, soonest due first, ready to print or save as a PDF to send. The By Room view gives you a walk packet for one room or the whole house. The Closeout Dashboard shows the totals, what is overdue, who owns what, and a plain answer: Ready for final walk: YES, or NO with the number of open punch items.

• Start Here: quick start, GC mode and homeowner mode, color key and printing tips.
• Closeout Dashboard: total items, open, overdue, done, percent complete, documents received, Ready for final walk, open items by responsible party (with a bar chart) and by room, status and item type counts, and the overdue list.
• Punch Log: room for 500 items. Item number, room or area, trade, responsible party, description, photo link, found date, due date, status (Open, In progress, Done, Verified), verified by, verified on, and item type (Punch, Warranty or Owner item). Days late, Signal (Overdue, Due soon, To verify, Closed) and a Check column calculate automatically.
• By Trade: pick a responsible party from the dropdown to list only their open items, up to 150 rows, with a sign-off column, set up for Letter landscape.
• By Room: pick one room or All rooms to list every item that is not yet verified, in your room order, up to 150 rows.
• Closeout Docs: a checklist that starts with 13 common closeout documents (warranties, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, permits and final inspection, keys and remotes, attic stock, lien waivers and more) with Received ticks and dates. Room for 40.
• Job Setup: job name, site address, owner, general contractor, target completion date, your rooms and areas, trades and responsible parties. Every dropdown reads these lists.

𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞

• Owner items and warranty items are kept apart from the punch list, so the owner's own leftovers never hold up the final walk.
• Photo link column: keep pictures in your phone or cloud folder and paste the share link; the print views show it as Open photo.
• Homeowner closing on a new build? The rooms list already holds the usual kitchen, bath, bedroom, garage and exterior spots.

• Light and Dark mode in the same file: choose a theme on Job Setup and every tab switches. The chart and header art are designed to suit both.
• Show sample data: a fictional new build with 60 punch items in 9 rooms and 11 responsible parties shows how everything works. Switch it Off and start your own job; the switch never changes anything you type.
